Westfield UK is part of the Westfield group, an Australian based company and the largest retail property group in the world.
Stratford City once constructed will be the largest retail development in the UK and will provide a supporting stone for the 2012 Olympics in London.
The website serves as a vision for Stratford City and provides key information for both key retailers, consumers and surrounding communities. This is achieved through flash animations, news and culture feeds, features and picture galleries.

Role/Technical Details
I was lead developer on this complex project intrepeting designs from external agencies and integrating into an unknown development environment.
Built using Ruby on Rails / PostgreSQL with an Interwoven TeamSite CMS including Perl template development it proved to be a massive challenge to learn new langauges and integrate with the clients strict infrastructure.
I managed other developers to ensure the workflow and template driven system were produced to the standards expected by the client including coding standards, continous integration testing, code coverage and 4 phase deployment process.
We managed the processes through liasing with their UK based marketing team and Australian based development team, with numerous technical challeneges and issues to overcome throughout the length of this ongoing project.
